Global Agenda Sandstorm (Version 1.3)

Sandstorm is the first major expansion for Global Agenda and it expands significantly on the MMO elements that our players have asked for and expect. With Sandstorm, we will raise the character level cap, introduce new devices and more device variation, expand loot, and add playable PvP and PvE content. Our content expansion includes introducing Open Zones that support many more players interacting within large outdoor areas.

We will be working closely with the community and using the Public Test Server to ensure Sandstorm meets our quality expectations before it is released.

If you are interested in learning more about Sandstorm, follow this thread from the game's lead designer on the official Global Agenda forums. (You'll need to register a Global Agenda forum account to read -- it's free).

I take that back you broke half ur game with this patch. its more unbalanced then before, and you've gone and turned the game into a Grind, the last ABSOLUTE LAST thing a shooter should EVER EVER EVER be.

the small patch. today june 9th 2010 has adressed many of the things i had an issue with. but not all. thanks for fixing some stuff

Just...Wow....

Did anyone ever hear about Star Wars Galaxies? Fun game at the start right? Que the "New Game Experience" update, it's crap now. Years later, here comes a little game called Global Agenda. Que "Sandstorm", anyone see a pattern here? Good job HiRez, any way you can tell Steam to give refunds to the people you had playing that ENJOYED it and now thinks it is crap?

if you cry loud enough (or often enough) companies eventually give in.
Anyways so sad what happened to starwars galaxies. If you want an example how NOT to update your game its starwars galaxies ^^
It used to be so awesome at the beginning =/
anyways as soon as you start "nerfing" weapons, abilities, classes things will change for the worse.

I do not own GA but I was interested in it, but now I think I better wait some more time. Maybe they are a better company than crappy SOE. (you killed SWG and you know it SOE)

While I hate SoE for what they did to SWG, I'd like to point out that nerfs are not a bad thing, needless nerfs are.

Sometimes nerds improve balance.

I don't get the whiners on this forum at all.

To me GA became better, I started playing in pre order Beta and then played for like 3 weeks until I got caught up in MW2 and BC2, however I recently got back into GA and must say I love many of the changes.

Crafting seems to be more useful (like repair kits etc.), the handsfree jetpack is a thing I truly love also, saves alot of stress while running and the idea of solo missions rocks too, since I love to solo sometimes to get more skillfull.

Also I saw new elite mobs I didn't see before etc. etc., to me I didnt notice any bad changes since beta and the first 3 weeks I played.

So HiRez, keep up the good work guys, can't wait to see the open area and the other expension packs that are in the makes.

I am so glad I read this. I love to support MMO's that do not have a subscription, but I hate grinding... and nerfs. I love being able to solo missions, though. In SWG you could become a jedi in the first three months, but then they nerfed that and made it the most horrible grind possible. Thanks for this input!

I loved star wars galaxy in the beginning because there were no jedi and you had to experience the game and get a bit lucky to bevcome one once they introduced it. The game was hard but thats what made it a meaningful experience.

Why exactly is a forum registration required to view the forums? Wouldn't it be easier for guests to allow to view all threads? I prefer not to be forced to register when I only wish to read certain topics.
