ps3 - pc orange box

I bought the orange box for the ps3. Now i know the answer is no, but im going to ask anyway.

Is there a way i an register the serial key on steam, from my ps3 version, to play it on the pc?

If you want to play on the PC then why did you buy it for the PS3?

Unless the program intended for the PS3 can be successfully altered by brain waves and wishful thinking, you'll probably still need to buy it for the other machinery in order for the program to run properly... just sayin. I doubt very much they would allow you literally double the package for only one cost. Since they're two separate items in any given store, and would only be able to be played on ONE. Sorry... good luck though.
