Hunter mode, is it a coop mode?

Hunter mode

I love this mode, but I am wondering if its coop compatible. It is an awsome mode, but I notice everytime I go into it my dsl modem light starts flashing like crazy non-stop so I can only assume it is finding a coop partner, but no one shows up.

Each of the 3 deniable ops is co-op compatible, except that in co-op theres a campaign and an additional deniable ops, face-off, which is basically a competitive Hunter in which you get pts for killing AIs and more pts for killing the other player. You lose pts when dying and the player with the most pts at the end of each round wins that round.

The co-op is broken for this game, so many pre-release servers it makes it impossible to play.
