Update breaks game

so the update comes out and I rush into the game to play with some shiny new toys. all goes well up to being deployed

apparently the video drives have crashed, I figure okay, no worries we can fix this, go to the nvida website grab the most recent stable drivers needed for my 9800GT, those too crash, so I go for the Beta drivers, have a guess, Bingo!

verifying the cache did nothing

moan moan, grumble grumble

Details about your system aside from video card would help, plus a crashlog from C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Futuremark\Sha ttered Horizon\crash_dumps

if there is one available in any case.

Most specifically, do the procedure for resetting the settings. Should fix it.

The crash dump isn't there as I feel I failed to describe things properly, it's the video drivers that crash and I have to close the game via taskman

and after looking though that thread I found nothing that related to my issue however I proceeded to change all the settings back to their defaults aside from the resolution (I will be attempting this upon my next launch)

Really strikes me as odd that it works right up until the map actually loads

Throw some more solutions at me?

Scratch that, it appears to work in 1024 x 768

Most odd, I'll attempt other resolutions now

(for reference I was in 1920 x 1080)

worked all the way up to 1920 x 1080 this time, closed the game, intend to try loading back into a map with that res

same issue as normal, appears as long as I don't load in with a decent res I can play fine, how annoying
