Things change. TF2 should be up soon, by next week hopefully. Just sit back and revel in the glory that is Steam on Mac.

Get Portal for free and enjoy. TF2 is due for an update soon ( we hope ) so they may release TF2 on the Mac along with the Free Weekend and the Update. |

I don't even see TF2 in my library. In fact its the only one missing. I guess it might take a few weeks to get the bugs out.

Disappointing, I just wanted to play TF2 and stuff, which was said to be (along with a healthy handful of source games) to be available at launch.
I guess I'll just pretend steam for mac doesn't exist for another month until the games are ready to play ![]() (although - pleasant surprise seeing the Civ IV stuff being ready at launch!) |

It's confusing- TF2 doesn't show up in my games list, but L4D, HL2, etc. do. They're unplayable on Mac yet, but they are there... Odd.

things were pretty dicey in the beginning with steam for PC too so give them a month and i'm sure it'll be fine. But I'm really doubting the frame rate is doing to be any better running HL2 engine natively on a Mac Mini as opposed to bootcamp XP.

Yeah, your full games list will show everything you own, regardless if you can actually run it on your platform or not.
Note there's a new "Mac Games" Library view, which only shows the stuff you own that has a Mac version. I'm assuming TF2's going to launch the same week as the Engineer update, so that they can run a free weekend for it as well. |

Hey, it's missing from my list too. If I had to take a guess, I'd say they are still conducting a closed beta of TF2 for Mac. Rather than code something into the client to prevent non-testers from playing they decided to handle it server side by not sending any TF2 data to non-beta testers. It will most likely reappear if you log into Windows Steam.
