Lost the Rubber Ball Permanently

After obtaining the rubber ball, I ended up losing it permanently. After viewing some forums online, saving the game after throwing it before it recharges results in it being removed from your game inventory, although it will still show up in your detailed inventory list when you press ESC.

Is there any way to remedy this fix and get the ball back?

Can any of the admins of this board tell me if anyone from Rockstar looks at this stuff, so they can address my question? It seems pointless to mention legitimate errors in the game if there is no knowledge of a fix, or feedback at all.

Yea...sorry dude. This game is not being supported anymore by Rockstar. They are spending all thier resources on GTA V and Bully 2.

I have this problem as well, but someone claims to have found a workaround on the 360 version using the in-game cheats.

Is there anyway to use the same cheats in the Steam version?
