Buying Torchlight for $10 gets us a DEMO?!

I paid $10 to get a demo version installed? What gives? I mean normally i've heard only excellent things about steam but this?! this is bull$#U* I would like to get my money back but you guys have no clear way of going about that through your website or through steam. So I'm posting here to get my answer.

Its fairly simple to file a support ticket. Click the button called Support and go through the steps.

Its obviously a bug, and a few people are getting it lately. Contact support and they will be able to fix it for you.

Im getting the same problem now too. It still says Torchlight but in the bottom left it says Demo Version.

Try right-click the game, select "delete local files" and download the game again. Worked for me.

Didn't work for me. Too bad there's no rollback button for Steam updates

Try following this thread in the Torchlight forums, I've also submitted a steam ticket and a user over at the Runic forums tried deleting local content reinstalling games and adding backed up saves, but its still in demo mode and characters cannot be played.

The more steam tickets that can be submitted the faster Valve will understand that this is a quickly growing problem.
