Folder for screenshots, now for demos?
Hello,
I am suggesting that valve make a demos folder because over the years of being and admin (or a player for that matter) one tends to get a bunch of demos which clutter the cstrike folder. Since screenshots have their own folder, I believe demos should too. It shouldn't take too much to do valve, please make a folder where demos are placed when they are recorded, so many peoples cstrike folders are less cluttered! Thanks. |

When you record you can specify a folder:
Code:
record "mydemos/demo_1.dem" -freddukes |

The OP is merely after a more newbie friendly way to store demos. I know when I was new to source I had a very hard time trying to find out where demos where saved. Last edited by cdlink: 05-19-2010 at 09:26 AM. |

Okay, yeah I agree with the noob friendliness. There's no reason why this shouldn't be implemented and it would take less than 5 minutes to code that in and thus is not wasting the developer's time
agreed.-freddukes |

No use for this folder. Every TF2 update will break demo compatibility, as every dodder knows by now
