question to who played Extraction point
in the subway section, there's a corridor where you have two doors, 1 at the left and another at the right.
the one on the left has the sign "absolutely no admittance" while the right one has "employees only". do you remember which one you tried to open first? i went for the "no admittance" one. |

Been too long buddy. I have an idea of where you are at but to know exactly nah it's just been too long. Heck all you needed to do if unsure was save before opening either door.

Yea I just played that part...you have to go threw the door on the right...first then it takes you in a circle and eventually you come outta the other door...

Well since I'm right handed, the chances are I'd save and go to the one to my right first depending on which way I was standing.

the signs would have no influence on your choice?

If given a choice, I always go left. Helps with any maze.

Heck, I try all the doors. Especially the ones that tell me I can't go in. But, yeah, being right handed I do think that has an influence. So it's the door to the right. Then I go back out and explore. Never know what goodies you will find!

i noticed i trend i have. in these cases where there are 2 doors close to each other but on different sides, if the hallway takes a turn to only one side (the hallway you're in at that moment, that is) i almost always go first to the door on the opposite side. if the hallway goes left, i go to the right door first, and the other way around.
i can only find one explanation for this; coming out of that door i'll have a less limited view of the turn so the chances of being surprised are reduced xD |

A lot of times, one door is blocked anyways. So you really don't have any other choice but to find a way around.

Not unless it was specifically what I was looking for and then it's the last door I open. No, I love exploring and I'm very methodical about not leaving anyone alive behind me. Thats what I miss most in current games is the freedom to explore. With the stupid checkpoints in most games now days it's a straight linear shot to the goal. No need to stop and look around, just press forward because there is only one way to go.

Yah PM while fun is not up to stuff like EP, but it's Okaaaaay( wiggle hand). EP was like an extension of the original game. PM was just tacked on. Really just another chance for some more FEAR gameplay with someone else. Not one you are going to play often but for the price well worth playing once at least.
