shaderapidx9.dll ERROR

hi all,

after a reinstall of windows I wanted to game some source, since I havent played it in over 4 months.

Now I get an error in the hl2.exe with shaderapidx9.dll.

When I search for a fix I find some with a batch file, some with shutting down a service to rename the folder and then start it again.

Anotherone with registering a local service.

I have tried them and they dont work.

I'm using winxp SP3
GFX 260 GTX 197.45
directx 9.0c (which is fully updated)

I really hope someone has another suggestion.

check dcom service, is required by steam.

its running, its only the source game that wont run , Mw2 run without any problems.
