MTG:Duels of the Planeswalkers

Hi,

I read here:

http://www.wizards.com/Company/Press.aspx?x=wz/press/44

that Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers would be available to PC Users via Steam on pre-sale as of 1st of June.

Is this still the case as I don't seem to find any news on the main Steam website.
Cheers

On weekdays Steam is updated through most of the workday. They probably just haven't gotten to putting it up yet, if you look at the New Releases page it looks like they've been busy.

Can't wait to get this. MTG is one of the best strategy games by far.

Does this have a tutorial on how to play it? I've only played the game once or twice, but loved it. I'd need to know the actual rules to play this game .

Sure it does. Altough, if you have some time to kill then read the official rulebook, it's very helpful and easy to understand:

You can also play some MTG:Online using a trial account (it's free) till this gets released.
See you ingame!

"combine the core game and Expansion Pack 1 for $9.99."

Expansion Pack 1 for $9.99. And exactly how many more expansions are there?

Duels is definitely aimed at newbies to Magic and, as a stand-alone product, it's a damn fine translation of the card game. However, for players who have been behind MicroProse's Magic from the beginning, Duels is almost useless and really just serves to jarate you off. If you're new to Magic and are interested in the possibility of playing against your friends over the Internet or via a LAN, modem, or direct connection, you may want to check out Duels. But for you old-school Magic players out there, Duels of the Planeswalkers is simply not worth the price.
Good thing is, I'm not old-school Magic player Might try this if it's really just for 10 bucks.

They haven't even released #2 yet, so don't worry.

Expansion 2 has been released and costs 5 dolars (400 MSpoints) on Xbox Arcade.

Hope they release it for PC too.
