Steam Cloud very slow

hi,

if i played the game the steam cloud sync take over 6 minutes. is this normal because i can't play any game until the sync is over

i mean, if i player Left 4 Dead 2 it takes only a few seconds why did this take so long?

because EP1 has savegames to sync. Savegames are big.

The first time it synced for me, it took a long time. Since then it seems to be quick? (For each game--Portal, HL2, Ep1.)

Is yours taking a long time every time?

Are you making a lot of savegames (including autosave) during the session play?

As it has been said, the savegames are huge, depending on your connection that can take more time or there is a problem with your cloud, you can try to erase your savegames from your drive (or juste move them in other location) to test.

Maybe you should contact Support about this.

I think my internet connection is slower and I've got more save files and it's doesn't take very long at all after the first time. (I'm actually playing Portal right now, but the concept is the same.)

Every save game is about 2 MB, so it can take a while to upload them all. I always deleted the unnecessary saves before exiting the game (you can do it on 'Load game' screen).

Yeah, I just noticed the Portal files are smaller (I have one HL2 file that's almost 10M ).
