Single Player Weapon Boost

I've only played enough of the Marine campaign to get the pulse rifle. Needless to say they've reduced it to a slingshot. It should take only a short burst of 5 rounds, maybe a couple more, to drop an alien. Putting 20 rounds or more into an alien is pure ridiculous. Did they suddenly evolve metal skin? Watch the Aliens movie again and you'll see the huge difference between the movie pulse rifle and the game pulse rifle.

Now onto the Predator campaign. I haven't gotten to the spear, so don't have any thoughts on that one. The only weapon I have a problem with is the shoulder blaster. When was there ever a stun shot? Both the targeted and untargted shot should do the same damage. Then there is the power issue. How did they kill anything before humans came along to leave lights for them to drain for power? Biggest baddest hunter in the galaxy with super advanced technology, but can't take more than 5 shots without having to recharge from a human energy source. I understand the desire to force players to use all their tools as a predator and not rely on just the blaster. Easy fix that plausible. Give it a heat gauge. So you have to spread out your shots or you'll overheat the blaster. If you overheat the blaster you have to wait x seconds for it to cool down before you can fire again.

Haven't played much of the alien campaign so don't have any suggestions for that one.

I mentioned this as well with the aliens. Notice that they are not as fast as they were in the first game. They ran and jumpted towards you without mercy, neither did give you any time to bash them whenever they are to preform a melee attack. This game has traded the speed for durability on the aliens.

The stun of the shoulder cannon is to simulate pain I'm pretty sure of. It hurts to get hit by something dangerous.

What? Tapping the middle mouse button shoots an unaimed and uncharged shot. When you hold it down you get the triangle lock on and a charged shot. So two different damage amounts. It should be one damage amount with the only difference being the aiming. The quick shot being straight where you're looking and the other being where you're locked on.

It was for balance issues why the Plasma Caster does less damage when it is not charged. Though, I wouldn't really notice a difference myself since I barely use it (I go in there with Wrist Blades mostly and that's it).

Aliens are very durable in this game, but that doesn't mean their not killable by other means. Warriors and Runners are very vulnerable to head shots. Aim for the head as a Marine and you can drop an Alien in less than half the shots!

If you play Survivor Mode, the Xenomorphs are easily killed like you said in the movies.

I think if they spammed weak Xenomorphs more in the Marine Campaign, it would've made the game very tough for melee and blocking because you would quickly be overwhelmed. Melee is a huge part of this game anyway.
