$20 price drop (AU)

That's right! The game is a whole $20USD cheaper now. Bioshock 2 can be yours for $59.99USD instead of $79.99USD.

The store page still doesn't list SecuROM and it is still more expensive than the US version...Come on 2K. Give it up.

LOL well I guess it didn't fly off the shelf like they thought it would cos you can also now get the special edition on PS3 for half price in most shops here too, which I'm guessing is even cheaper than the Steam 'discount'.

Me too! Batman: Arkham Asylum just dropped by $20. As soon as Bioshock 2 does I'm buying. Hopefully Steam will offer another midweek madness deal.

Even if it goes down to $20 it's worthless 'til they patch out that absolutely horrific and abusive rootkit called SecuROM.

Even 2K admits now that Bioshock 2 sales SUCKED everywhere, despite all the lame and false propaganda to shovel down SecuROM on people's throat - after the initial hype it's TANKED completely: http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/08/ta...k-2-sales-low/

Of course, stupid, arrogant and greedy 2K managers didn't give a crap - and I bet they still don't...

...GREED, period.

LMAO good I hope they off and die, worst dev/pub company ever so clear everything they ever do is to generate massive profits by price fixing, releasing unfinished product, and then screwing gamers with crap support. 3 months to release a patch and charging for ty DLC.

No doubt they will use those figures to justify even harsher DRM measures, not that I care, they'll never see another sniff of a penny from me.

edit: in the same bargain bin I noticed Prototype at half price, but that's well over a year old.
