The only things that will seal a map are world brushes and skybox brushes. All other entities, displacements, props, and brushes will not. If fixing your leak doesn't get rid of the "FindPortalside" errors, it may be because you have a very large brush in your map. If you do, clip it into smaller pieces.

most likely you've got an areaportal (or more than one) that can be accessed from two sides. does the pointfile intersect any of your areaportals? you likely need to add more to seal the different areas better. http://developer.valvesoftware.com/w...talLeakFig.jpg Last edited by SplatterPanda: 06-11-2010 at 04:41 PM. |

I assumed he had a leak because he had a pointfile. If not, the next most likely culprit is usually large brushes.

but un-sealed areaportals will generate a pointfile as well. |

Did you do what the error message told you to do? open Hammer, go to the coordinates 436.9 936.3 131.1, and look for brush number 3309. Either this is a really big brush, or it is invalid. Check for errors in your map by pressing alt-P.

If there's no pointfile, then the culprit is usually an extremely large brush in your map. If there is such a brush, find it and clip it into smaller brushes.

Do you see where are the Cordon Tools are ? There are 3 buttons : 2 for the cube method with the hazard sign, and a third one with an R in a red circle. Disable that if it is on

I could be caused by an areaportal touching more than 2 area's or an areaportal that clips with a water brush.
