Mac users: Here's how you remove mouse acceleration

What is mouse acceleration?
To make it that you don't have to slide your mouse across the whole desk to move the cursor from one side to other, mouse acceleration is built into OSX.

However, this is very bad for games. The OS determines how much your cursor will move based on impossible-to-master mouse speeds, and in TF2 where hitting the head = critical for sniper rifle, mouse acceleration is very bad.

How do I turn it off?
Most if not all players who have known about mouse acceleration. However, Steve Jobs says you're too stupid to understand this. So you have no way to remove mouse acceleration.

THE FIX!

Okay, so does this Fix kill the mouse acceleration completely for all apps / the whole system?
If there would be any reason why I'd want to set this back up to standard, how could I manage this?

Whenever this issue came up I always thought "oh come on, it's no even noticeable!"

However, I downloaded the app and clicked 'fix mouse' and OMG...

I'm actually finding it hard to use the mouse now, but it kinda makes more sense...

thanks

Alternatively, download USB overdrive, and you can configure it per device plugged in, so its only being used during games.

I have the opposite problem. Now in portal and HL2 games, I can no longer enable mouse acceleration since the linux update. Damn penguins.
(I never understood the gripe against mouse acceleration. Maybe it's because I don't play counter strike).

Sorry for the necro here, but is there any way to make it a tad slower or to make it only run when steam opens a game?

Whenever I turn it off it goes into super speed
