I don't know, I always wonder things like these. Like I wish after I died I could just ask questions about everything that happened.
I just wonder who got the last key before they ran out. Doesn't matter though on the above, but I do have a question. I've played Fallout 3 on Xbox 360 before, and I failed pathetically, I had terrible guns and et cetera. Does anyone possibly have any tips on how to get off to a good start? |

Right after you leave the vault go straight to megaton. Do the quests and determine what skills you want to train. if you want a good chinese assault rifle i suggest you go to megaton, talk to the sherrif then go to that bar (forgot the name) talk to mr burke (he offers you to blow up megaton). he'll give you some weird thing, go back to the sherrif, give him the item. now the sherrif will try to arrest mr.burke but gets killed in the process because mr.burke shoots him in the neck. kill mr.burke when he does that, loot the sherrif's corpse and you got yourself a chinese assault rifle to begin with. if you intend on to keep using it, train the small guns skill and try to get the "commando" perk as soon as possible

This is totally unacceptable. How in the hell do you run out of virtual keys?

cheat. seriously i always do it in roleplaying games because i play them for the roleplaying. one time i used the console to give me the deathclaw gauntlet, cannible and Night Person perks aswell as a ghoul mask so i could play as a crazy mutant character. that was fun.

my winning recipe is to save megaton (even when i'm evil, i save megaton. it's just a very convenient town, much more so than tenpenny tower). next i find repair, small guns, and lockpick to be keys to getting off to a good start. don't use any of your perks on "adds 5 to ____ skill" or something like that, there's no reason to. go for perks that help you in ways nothing else will be able to. and especially early on, hoard items, especially high value items. when you go back to town, you should be completely full of items to sell. having a lot of caps is another good way to get off to a good start. there are more tips, but that's a good start for ya

Scrounge and loot EVERYTHING the first few levels.
What you don't need can be sold for caps. Hold on to the guns for a while 'till you have a handful of them in good repair. They do more damage and bring in more caps when/if you sell them. |
