[Bug] Game freezes after beating end boss [Lvl - Run max run]

After beating the boss for the first time the game glitched after I jumped into the portal. I was able to move the pointer around the screen but I was unable to do anything else (esc didn't work, clicking on the screen didn't do anything, none of the game keys did anything, etc). It records that I finished the game because when I try to restart the level I can see the "best time" on the records.

This appears to happen to me every time I beat the end boss. I always get stuck.

The window title says v1.02. The version at the bottom right of the screen says v1.03. Don't know which is accurate.

Did you every try v1.04 to see if it fixes the problem? I just installed it. It appears to kill your game data so I will have to play through again to see if it works now.

Install it into the steam folder that has max.exe. This worked for me. Now it launches v1.04 when I launch it from Steam.

It appears that this bug is fixed in v1.04. I was able to complete the game and see the ending after installing it and playing through the game again.
