Same error, pretty sure mine is up to date as well, downloading latest from nvidia anyway.

Latest driver didn't work either. Until this is fixed, recommend anyone with ATI stay away as it won't even open.

I had the same problem, at first. A restart of Steam and my computer fixed the issue.

Solution:
1. Navigate to the install Directory (Steamapps/common/Dogfighter). 2. Go to the Redist folder 3. Create a shortcut of 'PhysX_9.10.0129_SystemSoftware' to the desktop 4. Edit the shortcut and put /passive and the end of the command promt (".... .exe" /passive) 5. Run the shortcut 6. Restart Steam once it has installed 7. Voila! |

Side note... the game sucks imo, not worth even the 12 bucks :/ Controls are absolutely horrible. I was hoping it'd be even remotely close to crimson skies feel... this is just clunky and completely un-natural in any sense of physics (arcade or not) |

I think the controls are slick and intuitive. It's an arcade shooter, but you still need a basic understanding of angles of attack if you want to do well. Within 10 minutes, I had the controls down and was navigating the maps like I knew what I was doing.
I don't know - I have only played the game on my 360 game pad. Maybe the disgruntled guy was using his keyboard. |

Has the fix not worked for anyone?
Controls seem to be a divisive issue. Sorry that you feel that way Kyouto42, at this time I usually say submit your feedback to a forum but actually in this case I see its already on one. Will get sean to respond to this thread |

"MAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THIS CRAP!!!" to "THIS IS TEH AWESOME SAUCE" The sad fact is that I just wont be able to keep everyone happy. However, if I find a growing consensus of thought about a particular facet of DogFighter, I always at least look into it and in this case we are looking at our control peripheral support if not the actual controls and flight model themselves. |
