Just watching an enemy bot prone down next to one of my ally bots, but then shoot at an ally bot far away... makes me giggle. There's a bad guy right by you! Prioritize! |

I don't think EA would bother putting up their back catalog anywhere. I also miss many of the 2000-2005 era EA games such as BF 1942 and C&C Generals.

There was a tweet from Dice few weeks ago saying the BF2142 would be available on Steam after the release of the "recent" last patch.

If they put BF2142 on Steam, why the hell not put BF1942? It is the game that got the series started after all (and still the best one). |

Oh yes, Vietnam. Good old tunnels and propaganda coming out of the speakers in urban maps. I missed that in the Bad Company 2 Vietnam dlc.

Ooh. C&C Generals. I might buy that one (again) too. While it definitely never felt "C&C" to me, it was a good game in its own right. Especially with the expansions.

I'd buy every Battlefield game instantly if it went on steam. Already own BF2 and BC2.

BF1942 (with DC mod) is a must install on all my PC, no matter where I go everyone has that game and it plays on just about every PC.
If it is released, please let it be Steamplay. Another appealing aspect of this game is the fact that even Mac guys can LAN it with PCs! Last edited by RangerXML: 04-12-2011 at 12:55 PM. |

Haha, I just saw BF1942 on sale at a Drug Store for 10 bucks. No thanks, definitely would rather have it on Steam.

just because its an old game doesn't mean steam won't add it. look at a lot of the star wars games they have listed and quake and doom.

1942 - and all the expansions.
Or just every Battlefield game to be honest. Steam would sell so many of these, I'd buy them up straight away. |
