Game currently unavailable

Hi,

I bought this game yesterday and today i try to launch the game and steam responds that the game is currently unavailable?

Is this a common issue, i also believe there is a c++ problem somewhere.

Could somebody point me towards a fix pls.

Uninstalled and reinstalled, and it has now launched. I hope this will not become a daily requirement. I shall report back any further issues

How do you uninstall then reinstall the game on steam? I'm not sure how, I have only ever done so when a game is on disc, i'm scared i'm going to mess it up somehow.

Delete Local Content when you right click on the game in the library list

I'm having the same problem. I've tried everything I could think of:
Reboot, validate the files, defrag the files, reinstall, nothing worked.

Does anyone know of something else I could try?

Start game directly via its .exe file

You will find it in Steam\steamapps\common\hearts of iron 3\hoi3game.exe
