After Steam installs, Attack On Pearl Harbor, it will not run and displays the following message, "Game currently unavialible, please try at another time". I've tried again and again, searched the boards, and still no game playing.
Thanks in advance. Vista operating system. Note: Tried all troubleshooting steps and get same message. All my other games run just fine. Is there anything else I can try? Last edited by Cbear1E4: 06-17-2010 at 11:06 AM. Reason: Spelling & adding info. |

deactivate uac (user account control) in system settings and it should run fine (on win7 turn it down to lowest level)
another try: delete (rename) the file clientregistry.blob in the steam folder and restart steam (or even better the pc). or delete ALL files (files!) in the STEAM folder and re-install steam (do NOT delete any FOLDERS within the STEAM folder!! like \steamapps or any other) Last edited by Shenzi: 11-12-2010 at 05:33 PM. |

I have a slightly different issue that the game will not launch, only the settings/launcher will launch... I hit Play and the launcher closes and opens again... Could this be related to my recent upgrade to Win7u64? it used to run fine on XPpro64...? I recently upgraded from a 10y/o satiek controller to a new current model and brand. I thought a few dogfights would be fun... It feels more like the idiot-in-suspense joke, turn card over... lol (ps- I tried the steps listed above, among MANY other troubleshooting steps i have found over the years, and on the forums... still just launches the Launcher, hit play, relaunches the launcher, repeat times infinity...
