Unable to play

Hi I recently downloaded the demo and have been unable to get any play time from it. The game loads up fine but everytime I click play it brings up the profile selection screen but I can't progress I've tried clicking my name and pressing enter but it won't do anything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try disabling anti virus first, or anything that maybe stopping the game from writing to a file.
