Why can't the soldiers pronounce sniper properly?

I usuually hear "We've got a shooter somewhere!" Haven't noticed poor prononciation on this. Then again on HC, sniper shots are usually insta-kills..

Is it the russian accent version? Since i just have russians on russian, makes it easier to know when an enemy is nearby.
