Almost embarrassed to ask as I know I'll get it at this price point but is it worth $5? Bearing in mind that I'll prolly be playing this solo 99% of the time, is it still worth $5?

I can't say yes or no I personally just sucked it up and bought it its download as I type, but I think it should be a fun buy based on youtube videos ha.

It's a pretty good game for SP, especially at $5. As long as you accept that the game is design for Co-Op, and so you'll be with 3 Bots in SP, then I think it will is a fair purchase. That isn't to say that the game is impossible to finish with Bots only, just harder depending on your style. If you want teammates as moving turrets, the Bots can get the job done. But keep in mind that this is based on V1.0 of the game, and the game is now V1.2 with many AI improvements. The game should be able to last 12+ hours, and SP with Bots should be longer.

this game def. is 5$ worth! to play with 4 man coop is just nice and fun!
second, i mean hey five dollars? even a double-whopper menu is more expensive!
but with scourge project, you have many many hours fun and its more healthy

all I can say is: buy it! dont complain, just do it

Yeah. The 1.1 patch fixed the main problem people had with playing in SP (crappy bot AI). Playing with the AI before was kinda hit-and-miss, fun until you lost because the AI messed up but now it seems much better at staying alive and getting things done.

With most of the bugs fixed and better AI this game is a blast in coop!
If you like games like Gears of War, this is a must buy

I took a chance on it since the just-announced update seems like it might fix at least some of the problems people had been having (which had scared me off to this point).

I can't find anybody to do co-op with, and there don't seem to be any Steam groups for this (which might help in finding co-op partners). Look me up if you'd like to try this in co-op, or count me in if you're hosting a game.

got it, for 5 euros I would get it anyway... co-op is fun, gfx are good, I hosted a game yesterday and 2 guys joined for a while. Definitely worth buying
