any active players on steam?

played the game around ten years ago...

just re-bought it on steam, and wondering is there are other nostalgic players like me

I don't play it via Steam as I have the retail version from 10 years ago.
There's a small group that still plays on Sundays around 2 PM GMT-5/EST.

I found out about this game from a friend YEARS ago and sometimes still play it (retail) wish you could input your key to register it to steam though

I don't know if you could add retail to steam, but the tach community still sort of lives.

We play Sundays @ 2 pm EST. Currently we're using Kali to replace Novalogic's servers. Supposedly they will start putting servers back online starting Tues evening. People showing up has been reduced due to the outage, but we still play anyway.

Well the novalogic servers went online a while back so we're not currently using Kali.

There's still patches and stuff at FringeSpace.

this is one hell of a classic game, Tie Fighter would be better if it had this type of scale.

Overall, Tachyon was just outstanding and fun to play and since you could pick sides, made it have good replay value.

True... we're still working on our mod for FS2, hopefully we'll have some fresh and familiar content for the fans.

There's a Tachyon facebook group now as well.

Should have about 8 in multi this coming Sunday.
