TF2 Freezes in MAC

Hey all, so, I was excited when TF2 came out for mac, and bought it. When I first uploaded the game, it worked fine, I went to the new tutorial and started blasting away, but it was kinda laggy so I turned the settings down. As soon as I hit the apply button, the game froze and now whenever I try to start it up, the game gets past the Valve loading screen, and then freezes with a black screen.

If someone has any idea whats going on, please do tell.

Add -autoconfig in the launch options panel from Steam. Right click the title in the list, choose properties, go from there.
