Denmark is one awful example since its one of worlds smallest countries.

Both fiber optics, and cobber cables send stuff with light speed...

So again, unless you live in a 3rd world country, and/or the phone lines are you wont notice any delay...

i confirm that. "Decals" are calculated clientside and very different from the "real" view. I dont know why, but its true. The same thing with bloodhits

I shoot at few enemies, give them FOR ME a headshot and see the blood at his head but no confirmed hits for the server.

well, blood on models but no hit, is a different thing,
the models move and bob on the client but arent always synced with the server.
The head, arms and legs all move on the client, but arent tracked by the server, so it matches your shots to the server model which can be in a slightly different position.

the problem in this thread is bullet patterns on walls, which shouldnt be affected by the mismatch between client and server as the wall isnt moving and bobbing about.

I too feel that the deagle has some recoil or spray pattern issues visually.

Back to OP's point, I experience the same thing. I have been playing this game since 1.5, so I've been around the cs block, and things like this make css sadly "random".

When you are looking at a player standing 3 meters in front of you and shoot at his head 4 times in the middle of your crosshair (I'm standing still, so is he.. so no movement involved) and he finally dies with the 5th shot. Most noticable for me is d2, on pistol round trying to deag ct's crossing double door to b, I see like 4 bullets impact the spot in middle of the ground that goes down the ramp towards dd... and I'm aiming through dd! Bear in mind I wait for the recoil to settle back each shot, so every bullet I fire "should" be dead square in the middle of my crosshair.

This is my major gripe as of right now, followed by the jumpy crosshair bug that accompanies every gun that can fire automatic.
