how are the controls of driving?
downloading the demo now... I would assume the final version is a bit better I would hope.
I got the g25 wheel. So I heard there is no clutch? weird but same as dirt 2 I guess right. Is the AI like super hard? or compared to dirt 2, almost the same? |

I found with the controls, that GRiD was harder in comparison, but I do use a keyboard and HAD to enable some "features"

AI in DiRT 2 seemed a bit easier, but not by much.
I mostly use an Xbox 360 controller for play, and it works fine. Some other times I use my microsoft steering wheel, and it seems like I have to constantly straighten the car out (maybe I just can't hold it still) |

Yeah I just got the demo 1.1 to try it out. So far it looks decent and plays fine. Playing against AI on normal is extremely challenging. Couldn't imagin how hard it is on the higher difficulties. =x
It took about 3-4 races to get used to the weird corning this game has. But controls are 20 times better than NFS:Shift. Thats all I can say lol. I recorded the video aswell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_G5CPd8mRY |

The controls are fine, but you gotta make sure you configure it correctly in-game. Take your time, and test everything until you're satisfied. This process can seriously take half an hour or more.
![]() The AI is very aggressive in GRID, but as long as you stay out of their paths (the hardest part of this game really) and you don't screw up too badly by yourself, it should be an easy win. |

The AI can be agressive, but the difficulty lies in the tracks.
