In all seriousness, this is pretty much it. Portal had no demo until months after it was released. If you need a demo to secure whether or not you're buying this I don't know what to tell you. All we got for Portal 1 was a [kick-] trailer.

I doubt there will be a demo, unless valve adds a way that no custom maps can be loaded in the demo like the L4D2 demo so you couldn't just download the maps from the full game onto the demo.

I don't really care about a demo, would rather they spent the time making that on making the game even better

Uh-uh. Episode Three will end The Freeman's journey. If, and i mean -if- Valve is planning to make an Half-life 3, you sure can wait.

It will probably be a huge wait for HL3 if it ever is made, look on how long we have waited for Episode 3.

If Episode Three actually comes out, you mean, and if it hasn't turned into HL3.

They work on it since 2006, somehow...

Whats that got to do with Episode Three being turned into a full on Half Life 3?

I Hope so for PS3/PSN Store . I would love to play/try it early, plus it will be good for PS3 gamers who have never played or heard of Portal 2. there will probably be a pre-order early demo like L4D2 had & then maybe free for everyone else after launch .

I thought this was common knowledge and Valve supported. There's a thread about it already.

Not a referral, but this is how much I have.

I've been working on gaining hits since last summer. Long story on my methods evolution (Because I've waited for months to tell how. Must stroke ego once.)

I've started the informational pics organization craze on other sites.

http://lifetip.ning.com/ is one of them. I started the original collection of info pics here.

http://s966.photobucket.com/albums/a...al%20pictures/

Which now has a total of 6.8 million file views. (http://i54.tinypic.com/27x3x3s.jpg)

Wallpapers, reaction pictures, and pr0n folders, all in the double digits of GB, are some of my collections for the link. Great data of names now forgotten are in my keep, waiting to be released once more onto the web. (But 4chon's line limit is to damn small)

I've asked with humility for hits. I've given so much, collected so much, just for one chance at awesomeness.

This game has been the focal point, the bane of my existence. I've never stopped thinking about it at some level, always pushing the envelope to get more hits. I am, however, going to buy a copy along with my pre-order. I support Valve so much, even though they take forever to release a sequel. (Winkwink)

I'm a Hammer Legion Member of the highest level only in the mind (because there's nothing to talk about instead of "Portal 2's coming out. Yay.")

But at this point, I don't really care if it's all a scam, the contest. The fact that I am spreading the word, the feeling of Portal 2, the chance to be part of an experience like the release of Portal 1 again, is mind bending.

Or this could all be because I'm bored.

tl;dr Buy Portal 2 here have some info.

I hope there is no Portal 2 demo released so I don't have any of the game ruined for me and that includes the gameplay experience. I know a number of you will say that I don't have to play the demo but if it's out there then I can't help but play it.

Tbh I'd rather buy the game then try and get some traffic for a failing website or something. Some of us have lives (if only a little bit )
