Game Crashing Error

I downloaded MDK the other day, hoping to get a chance to actually play through the game (I never had access to it long enough to get through the first level), but I've been faced with a terrible glitch. Right after the first Air-Strike section, I move underground again, kill everything in that room, and head onwards...

...To have the game crash. I've tried playing through 3 times in a row, and every time I get faced with the same error.

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, is there a fix to it?

Even though you are not experiencing graphical difficulties, you should follow advice here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=1322768
You want to read post 2 and 4. 1 is useful but provides a bad exe.
