Mini patch #6? or an update?
 http://store.steampowered.com/news/4042/ yay for rebellion fixing stuff   EDIT its a small update/patch but it includes this "Updates to Aliens vs Predator have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. -Predator Focus Attack now knocks you down between 9-12m -Alien Focus Attack damage has been returned to it’s correct values -The chance to spawn on occupied/blocked friendly spawn points and consequentially knock players out of world is reduced -Joining a Dedicated server which is running on non-standard ports, leaving and then hosting a player match, will now no longer cause any clients who join the hosted match to lose connection upon starting the game" Last edited by kesuga7: 07-08-2010 at 12:08 PM. |

Was just about to post this asking if its a hotfix for spawning through floors or if it was just some corrupted file redownloaded.

Well, i tried to boot the game after downloading the patch and for some reason the game tried to re-install itself, giving me an incomplete installation (10) error.

Already did that and got the same error. I even changed the download server region. Gonna try a re-install and see what happens.

There are people currently playing on our servers, so this issue is not related to the patch.
Please give steam a little time - it was giving me the same error, but has just sorted itself out and I launched into the game. |

I remember whenever I did this before, and other users reported it as well, it would always redownload the exe file. |
