Free Month
When you buy an expansion all in one pack (EverQuest® II: Sentinel's Fate™ for example) it comes with a free month of play time...
Read the fine print before giving your credit card while signing up because this free month of game time is for new accounts only In other words you cannot use a previously active account, or current account and get the free month. Cheers! |

Frankly, I think SOE should reconsider that policy. I'm an old-school EQ'er, so I'm used to it - and don't begrudge them this policy, for the record - but just consider the good will they'd generate by allowing a free month for everyone when a new expansion is released (for those who purchased said expansion, anyway). I'd say the good will from the fans would far outweigh the potential losses they might incur from a free month.

Just for the record. You don't need a totally new account, just one which got no EQ2 on it. After the activation you need to subscribe, but before the first payment the 30 free days start first.

True, but that negates the point of using an existing EQ2 account, which is to play your current characters in the new expansion zones.
