Not worth getting...

Got the game the first time it went on sale in the US, so I got the US version. Please visit the Rig N Roll forums and see what this game is about.

This game does NOT feel like the truck simulator it purported to be. It has lots of eye candy, but lots of bugs too. The biggest irritation for me was that loading/unloading of cargo/trailer is done automatically for you at the station. WTF, half the fun of driving an 18 wheeler is parking your rig and shooting for the docking chute.

This game as it is now is not worth getting... it has great potential but needs to be patched and fixed first. Hope this helps.

It does look like a hack job, no tutorial, no manual, you are plunked into the seat of a truck and told to start your assignments, but when pressing Q for assignments nothing happens, so I just sit there, I admit this is my first truck/train simulator, but this is ridiculous.

(edit) I tried again, but now my desktop colours are bugged after leaving the game, red lines all over the place, definitely a hack job.

(edit2) So I gave it a fourth chance, and after finally finding a warehouse and getting a load, I am spawned right into another truch wich causes my truck and cargo to be damaged, and I havent even started the haul yet, this game is definitely a crappy hack job.

(Edit3) Maybe Im being too hard, there is a game in there, and its clear they put alot of effort into it, its just so bugged ...

Considering that this game has been in production for years now with slipping ship date every 6 months for the last 3/4 years your spot on. The amount of time they have spent on this game is unreal so there is no excuse for this kind of final product at all. I have been waiting for this game for a long long time and now I can't even bring myself to spend the $25 to buy it. The reviews on this thing are universally horrid so buyer beware.

It's been in development for almost 7 years! One can imagine how disorganised and planning and development impaired Softlab is .

Dahh. I've been after a good sim/travelling game for a while now. Railworks sounded good before launch, but it ships with little but there is way too much DLC, which would be a good thing if they hadn't charged so much for it. And now I hear this one isn't so hot either.
