This one only has the more popular cities, the AI is stupid, they pull out in front of you without obeying the laws of the road. Cars pull out in to the side of you and YOU foot the bill.
Only upside to ETS? The side of the road - that's it. As I'm from the UK, driving on the other side of the road can be confusing. The OP has a valid point. It would be nice for a mirrored game |

I highly doubt whether this could be accomplished. The roads and traffic flows are designed specifically for driving on the right hand side of the road. Even if you were to get traffic on the left (which I strongly doubt could be done using a mod), intersections and turnoffs would make no sense at all and be a giant mess. None of the signs would make sense even if they were visible, and the road markings would also be useless. Short answer - no, it can't be done.

There is UK truck simulator. Latest patch is 1.06. The map is bigger than the one used in EU Truck Simulator. And, better I feel

There's also 18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker and its sequel. One of the environments you can drive in is the Australian Outback, complete with left-hand traffic and road trains. I'd suggest just getting the second one, it has the three environments (Outback, Yungas Road, Tuktoyaktuk Winter Road) from the first plus two new ones (Montana, Bangladesh).
EDIT: After getting ET2, I can tell you that Bangladesh also has left-hand traffic, and oddly enough looks almost exactly like a low-budget version of Panau from Just Cause 2. I assume Avalanche Studios used Bangladesh as inspiration for the environments and vehicles in Panau. I also forgot to mention that Yungas has left-hand traffic, though vehicles have the driver on the left. This is because Bolivia overall has right-hand traffic, but North Yungas Road has left-hand so that vehicles on the outside edge of the road have a clear view of the edge, since it's also usually the edge of a cliff. It wasn't christened "World's Most Dangerous Road" for nothing.
