2 things - Resolution, Mouse sensitivity

1) Why give us the option of changing resolution if it can only do 1024*768?

2) An option to change mouse sensitivity would be great, soldering is virtually impossible for me. Especially with a lower frame rate.

1) What? What are you talking about?
2) I don't really know about that

Works just fine for me at 1920x1200.....

Mouse sensativity can be set in the regular control panel.

Virtually all games have an option for mouse sensitivity.

And with regards to my resolution problem:

768 is the height of my screen, so as you can see, it gets obscured by the taskbar...

Well, yeah. You're running it in a window, not in fullscreen. Or hadn't you noticed?

You seriously recommend this? I'd never recommend it, as it changes the mouse speed for EVERYTHING, and I personally set it up for how I find it comfortable. It's a damn good thing my mouse has an adjustable CPI.

I think MGN001 is probably the first person to make a post in this thread which actually relates to my problem.

I don't see why having it in a window is a valid reason for only being able to select one resolution?

It's not. You were complaining that even though you had the resolution set to the same as your desktop, the bottom of the game screen was obscured by the taskbar. I just told you why that was.

Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. You are asking for help with two problems, so I assume that you, as a matter of course, have checked the sticky thread named Mini-FAQ and Solutions to Known Problems, specifically posts 3 and 4 which are the ones relating to your problems, and tried the methods outlined there. Since that hasn't helped, I can't really do much more for you.

Regarding the resolution problem:

The game detects what resolutions it can use on your system, but it won't go lower than 1024x768. Since your computer is such an old one (apparently) and can't do more than that, you can't select any other resolution.
1. Set it to fullscreen, otherwise part of the game's window is hidden behind the taskbar (and beyond your screen, because there's also the window's borders to consider)
2. Get a new PC, or upgrade your current one. This is only a recommendation of course, but your computer must be very, very old if it can only do 1024x768.
Say, is your screen CRT? (not flatscreen)

This post has helped. Thanks!

I only bought this laptop last week. It's got a 1366*768 resolution but I've got it all fixed now.
