Game crashes to desktop

When i run the game from the Desktop shortcut to swarm.exe i can load a map up to 99% then it will crash to desktop with no messages.
I am able to run the lobby.bsp and then press Esc to main menu and play online as normal with no crash's or lag! (I havnt tried offline practise)

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz (2 CPUs)~2.4GHz
Memory: 3072MB RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX

Edit: Nope, crashes when trying to create a server and crashes after trying offline practice BUT... before it crashes in offline practice is says this:

"Game node out of date. Rebuilding..."

any ideas?

same here, but I get a "graphic node..." message (unless I wasn't putting enugh attention to it)

I am not really spamming, I am just conversating with everyone here on this topic , just seeing if we could make it to the 100th page before they send a patch, It just annoys me how many times my friends ask me, is it working yet? Can you play with us yet? That gets me jealous , As me a long time gamer, who loves to experience new games, this was one of my biggest hypes that I surely wanted to be one of the first, now I am prolly gonna be way behind in the experience

I can't play it either and I didn't say that you're spamming. I hate it too to see all my friends playing this. My message was just a joke, I'm sure that valve is already making a patch. It was so disappointing to wait for this game just to know that it crashes

I feel your pain brother, I am just crossing my fingers for a fix under 1 week, because I am not going to say, I hope for a fix today because I am just going to get my self impatient waiting, literally waiting for the game to function right : /

Well guys if you havent seen vash2pid's idea.. it works just right click on lobby.bsp then open with swarm.exe1 It works actually

From what I have heard from my friends, "For a free game, its fking awesome" And I can't wait to get this game into my pc working properly so that I can start making maps of my own! Come on valve, this is torture : /

actually your half right... well, the lobby.bsp dont work for meh but if you go to consol and write map lobby it'll get you there... none of my friend coudl join so i couldn't play from there but joining a public server works.. but i always arive when there's no place and the game crashes when they finish a misson... but i believe in valve so i dont worry...
