TOW Kursk does not run!

you know, most of your games work fine, but this one is giving me fits. I am running vista, Net 2.0, all drivers up to date, in sys admin mode, and I have NOT been able to get this game to run longer than 3 minutes before it freezes into a block of ice forcing a hard reboot. I have twin Nvidia 280 in SLI mode the game LOOKS GREAT for about 30 seconds then it turns to stone -- something is causing it to go haywire but I have no ideas and nowhere to go -- pls help -- its not a a heat issue everythings fine all other games work fine its just THIS ONE
