Unhappy Call of Duty 2 MP not working

I use windows vista 7, 64bit, and the singleplayer works fine, but when I start the multiplayer it brings up an error saying that CoD is not working and that windows is searching for a solution, you know, the standard not-working error.

Anyone has a solution? o.o

UPDATE: Apparently, singleplayer gets the same error message as soon as I change the resoultion from standard to 1920*1080. So same question, what can I do about that? =p

No, in standard resolution only the SP works fine, but I only have CoD for the multiplayer =p

And I already changed the standard resolution to 1920x1080, so that is solved to, but the MP just doesn't work.

This is what I do for CoD2 and 4 multiplayer... If you have a microphone port, put anything that will fit in there... Ipod earbuds, I microphone, anything works! Try it out

I know this bug. Its a Windows 7 bug. I used to recieve it before i changed my OS to XP. Your better off slamming your PC if you want it to work (JK) but really Windows 7 SUXXXX!

Found this. Got it to work.

I had the same problem. Here's how i fixed it.

Right Click on the Sound Icon in the bottom right of the taskbar > Recording Playback > Right Click and Enable "Show Disabled Devices".

Now Look for Stereo Mix > Right Click > Enable. Fixed my games, cos cod4 didnt work either.

Hope it helps
