Vista and Windows 7 compatibility

When the game was released it was notable because it lacked any support whatsoever for Windows Vista and had a lot of other bugs.
The Steam Store page for the title says it supports Windows XP and Vista.
Has anybody tried if it actually works on the WinNT 6.x systems (Vista/7), if it works in 64 bit systems, and if the game is still totally unplayable due to bugs?

Well, the game starts up just fine for me in Vista64, but it does have tons of other bugs that aren't related to the OS. If you haven't bought it yet, imo you're better off getting something else.

Or look for a cheap hard-copy. This game is worth about $5 tops.

Yeah, I'm not expecting it to be good, but I've felt compelled to try it ever since I heard it existed. Just wanted to know if it's even playable.
As for the price, you're right. I should look around for the hard copy some more, I saw it cheap in a store some time ago, when I couldn't afford it, otherwise I'll wait until it's on sale (probably never going to be a "special offer", but could be part of some "50% off all Activision games" or something. Sometime. I guess.
