Map Differs from server...

I keep getting an error message saying my map differs from the servers. I've uninstalled/reverified cache multiple times. After 1 or two maps the next map won't load and I get an error saying "The map [whatevermapisnext] differs from the server."
I'm not running the SDK/mods/maps. Everything is stock. Anyone else have this?

Perhaps the guy running the server modified a map and plays it with a friend.

Have you tried deleting those particular maps and then re-verifying the cache?

The same thing keeps happening to me except i can't even create a game without it popping up

having the same issue for Left 4 Dead 2. Verifying/ revalidating only provides a temporary fix. After awhile, the issue comes back, on various different maps. Would load out on map change, 'map differs from server'

Do you some program (maybe anti-virus) that could be making changes to the files?
