Sacred 2 v2.43
Does the Steam version of Sacred 2 have the latest v2.43 release? Does it have Securom online activation? Is it worth the money to buy this game. The developer of Sacred 2 has already gone bankrupt.

If you're running Windows XP, it's worth it, Sacred 1/2 are great games, if you're running Win7 or vista, don't. Compatibility issues will make your head explode.

I play Sacred 2 on Vista x64 and Win 7 x64 without any issue. The only issue I've had is with Stardock's Object Dock software. I have to quit the program or else I can't make selections on the main menu. |

If you try to run it on x64 Win7 default, then yeah, it's got this annoying stuttering thing, but setting it on Compatibility Mode for Windows 98/ME, and running as Admin fixes that. At least for me it did.

Compability set to Win XP SP3, running as admin. No problems on Windows 7.

Might be better off buying directly from Deep Silver, so you can get the expansion pack and be certain you're getting the latest patch (no one answered the post title question yet).
