i just started working on an ALIENS mod 2 days ago im gonna call it Hadleys Hope
what u see is the landing bay when the dropship drops off the APC but since the scene was only shown for literally 2 seconds i had to make stuff up this mod is not even close to being done http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQ0LyXCTuUE (NEW VIDEO 1080P - version 0.3) oh and i already have ALL the sounds from all Alien vs predator games (yes even AVP 2010) ill replace models w more original models if i ever make any(like the dropship) * This is the first map/mod i ever made * ![]() If u see any props in the middle of no where i just use them for testing EDIT: >.< I misspelled the Title Its supposed to be "Hadleys Hope"VIEW PICS AND DOWNLOAD MAP FROM SWARM ARMORY VERSION: 0.3 EDIT:I WILL NOT BE USING TILE GEN i thinks its to cheap and doesn't look as detailed NEW PICS [QUOTE=Specur;16422197][CENTER] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I thought the first post had to much info already.....
EDIT: I HAVE all the sounds from every movie Alien,predator,Alienvspredator ( i have them all i can just use fraps to record it and edit the sound ) I also have all the sounds from all the Avp games so iv got sound covered ![]() ![]() The only thing i need now is Models and animations ,textures so i can add new stuff to Alien swarm |

This will be Alot of work you realise that right not so much the sounds or the textures its the models im worried about.making the models is by itself a behemoth of a task but seeing as its hard enough to put valve made imported props in...not to mention animations.what i say is soundscapes and textures are ok to customise anymore than that well you'll need to really KNOW what your doin.

Can't you edit the title? Anyway, making a map based on Aliens is always a good idea.
That wind does sound familiar though; is it from AVP2?Also, please make it look dark and bleak, like the original Sigma campaign in AS2004. There seems to be an overabundance of overly bright maps on Alien Swarm 2010, which makes flashlight, flares and IR googles virtually pointless.

the map is dark, flickery and in some spots you see some colored props.
Looks meh. Don't know what's special about this, because I don't see anything that could make fun. Somehow... And the big pile of drops is a huge LOL. |
