HUD, screen bug

While playing CSS after a few mins, My display changes to what is shown in the screenshot. It moves around and spins, almost hypnotically. Anyway, I have to minimize the game and maximize it to fix the screen.

There are no error messages located in the console while this happens.

There is also another screen bug, but I forgot to take a shot so I will take the picture when it happens again and post below.

try these..
verify integrity of files,
check if your gfx card is overheating. (maybe try a stress test)

OK thanks.

edit: Ok so I checked the files, everything is as it should be. Stress test went good, average FPS 150 ish.

Graphics card doesn't appear to be overheating.

Positive. I play more resource hogging games such as Mirrors edge and nothing of the sought happens while playing that.

It looks like a hardware or driver issue to me.
Download HWMonitor ( http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html ) and check the temperatures after a while.
You could also try running it in a window to see if it just affects CS:S.
Also, update drivers etc.
Sorry for the really standard boring "drivers" post.
