Out of curiosity, should I start a new playthrough b/c the game won't recognize the ones I already should have unlocked? Or will it unlock automatically?

Super sweet! Looking forward to this. It'll certainly be interesting to see if they award retroactively. Shouldn't be too difficult to program that.

Ethan, Steamstats lists 70 achievements including the brother plumber.

I'd wait with starting a new playthrough. The achievements seems to be disabled for now. (Killed Crawmerax, no achievement)
It's great that the game has achievements now though, since that probably means Cloud support for saved games.

They'll probably be as sketchy as on the consoles as well. There were some achievements that I have to complete 3 r 4 times over in order for them to actually unlock on my PS3.

Awesome. More incetive to play. Although I have just completed the Braaaaaaaaaaaaains mission. Hope it registers that I done it

I hope that is true and they will remove Securom DRM from two DLC's too.

Would be great if they removed that GameSpy and Securom crap too. Steamworks would be great for this game!

That is one of those things that I hate suffering through... Along with the journal finding missions. They are fine the first time for the story, but after that it is just tedious...
