How do I change my name in TF2?

So I bought the Orange Box yesterday and installed Half-Life 2 first, then Team Fortress 2. When I got on TF2, I found that my name was a default name taken from my e-mail address. Needless to say, I hate it :S How can I change my name?

In Steam, go to View -> Settings -> Friends. Enter the desired name in the textbox and hit OK. This process can also be completed in the game overlay.

If you wanted to, you could also type in "name ParadiseNigh" into the console if you wanted to change your name in game, or put it into your autoconfig.cfg to have a different name from your Steam name.

This has been removed from the game and no longer works.

Oh. Nevermind then. I don't use that command, so I wouldn't know.
