just found out that there is indeed going to be a fee per month of play time about 15$ or so well...they just lost a sale

shame i really did want to play it

Just do what I do, play a month at a time. I've had a City of Heroes account for like 6 years & have only ever bought 5 months of playtime. You don't have to play continuously month after month.

Its a very decent MMO, why wouldn't you think you would have to pay for it. Thats like saying your bummed out that you have to pay monthly for wow.

SOE has MANY games?

don't bother paying for DCUO all SOE players know deep down that there going to leave it with no updates.

You have no idea what you're talking about Jack, SOE updates all of their games. New expansions, content updates and patches are released in a timely fashion.

Its understandable that there is a monthly fee since its an MMO, but it isn't understandable that they would charge $15 per month considering that is what World of Warcraft charges and thats the most popular subscription-based MMO out there. You would think they would want to undercut the competition.

This game is an MMO that is worth 15$ a month. Sorry you don't have to money to pay for that, you're missing a great game.

15$ fees are standard for big MMOs. Actually i find the reactions form the PS3 faction more interesting which had no MMOs with fees except the two Final Fantasy games. (both PC versions are crappy as hell can´t comment on the console versions)

There are a lot of people outraged on youtube(comments on the dc universe videos) that you have to pay a fee every month. I don't get how is paying a monthly fee for an mmo new news. You would think people lived under rocks for the past 10 years.

Anyway I'm going to asume it's about DC Universe Online. The fee does not bother me as it allows us to get regular content updates (something loads of people, or maybe it's because they are children, seem to forget). What bothers me is the fact it's a subscription AND cash store MMO. Greedy much?
