Solid game.

Honestly I saw all the comments here and thought it would be horrible, I played it and to be honest I enjoyed it. It has dedicated servers and I managed to get into a game where I had 10 ping very simply. I only played 1 game of CTF mind... however I felt no lag/jitter running it maxed at 1920 x 1200 (like numerous other people said they did) and the shooting/weapons/flying felt very well polished. Everything reacted exactly how I wanted it to. The only unfortunate thing is I don't see myself playing this as a main game with SC2, Worms reloaded, and other games around the corner. Anyway I bought it just because it was only 5 dollars anyway. Thanks for the fun dev!

Edit: this game compared to Blacklight Tango down is a godsend lol!

I must say I was expecting a lot worse after reading the comments. My impressions after about an hour of play. (I have not played Soldat - the game to which I am constantly seeing it compared)

- Everything is very tiny (yes, I'm using 1024 x 768, so I know it isn't cutting edge tech) and it's hard to tell if I'm even shooting or if it's hitting anything (particularly with the mini and assault).
- The game runs smoothly and looks nice for a $4.99 game.
- Clicking to respawn is annoying.
- The sounds (weapons especially) need a bit more work.

If the characters were a bit larger or maybe if you just moved a little slower and if weapons had a better audio/visual punch I can maybe see this being a game on I could spend a few hours. Right now I think I'm going to wait and see.

Since when were people not allowed to have opinions? I agree with the OP, the game is nice. I bought it during the summer sales.

lol yeah you'd think he'd find something better to do.

I think it is fun for what it is, but the weird performance issues are frustrating. I'm probably not going to play it much until it gets a patch.
