New weapons & maps?
Is Tripwire still planning to release new updates for Killing Floor with weapons & maps? Can't really find prove in the forum's
Like this game alot more then l4d

I'd prefer new perks to be made. I think im going to lose interest in this game when my all perks reach lvl 6.

If there's a perk that will add to the game in a meaningful way rather than just being more numbers to grind, then I'm all for it. The demolition perk, for example, was a fantastic addition (as well as being one of my favored perks) because it took the grenades and rocket launcher and made them into a full class. Rather than the explosives just being a side thing, now there's a perk that specifically uses them. That's the kind of thing a new perk needs to be. Weapons and perks are secondary. New enemies, especially more bosses ffs, and gameplay elements would be the best thing for this game. For example, i think the addition of the Husk is the best thing they've added since launch, because it changes things up having to worry about ranged attacks destroying your groups tight little camp spot at you fend off melee enemies in CQB. It changed things up more than any of the guns or maps they've added.
More variety and less predictability in the waves/matches. Thats what the focus should be. So players are anxious and interested in whats going to happen next instead of sitting around at relative ease because they know what to expect, when to expect it, and how to drop it in 1 shot. How about an enemy with an attack you have to jump over or duck under? i know you can do taht with the husks shots sometimes, but something else that tests peoples reflexes and awareness levels would be great. dont get me wrong, i love KF, its my top game on steam easily, almost 1k hours into it ffs. I just know that adding weapons/maps isnt going to change enough about the game to rekindle ppls interest for more than a few days/week maybe. I know that the groups i play with, even in pub servers, have plenty of firepower to deal with the current waves of enemies we face on suicidal. TWI's time would be better spent elsewhere imo. |
