Darkest Hour giving blue screens
Eh, kind of sorry to see their isn't a Darkest Hour specific forum since it may be specific to the mod. Honestly I don't really boot up vanilla RO any more, just DH. I've been getting blue screens with no information crashes from a few hours of playing or less, and it happened twice today within a 3 hour period.
I have super old computer with a Pentium 4, 2 gb ddr2 ram, Win xp, and a Ati radeon 9800 card. Any ideas? |

Is there any information on the screen? Anything ending in **.dll or something? It could be that your PSU has weakened and not putting out enough power anymore. Then again, it could also be a memory issue

The blue screen is blank blank blank. Windows when it boots up gives some info, I'll post it here when I get it next. I don't think it's just DH overtaxing my old system, I play Rome Total War with the superb Europa Barborum mod which is way more graphically intensive at parts.
Yeah, it happened 3 times in 4 hours yesterday. I guess the fact that I keep booting it back up shows how much I love the game! |
